Hacker News subscribers and employees will soon be able to set up their own online workplace for their jobs and playlists.
The new feature will be added to the popular Slack tool in the coming weeks, according to TechCrunch.
The feature allows people to set their own Slack channels, as well as manage and share media content, as long as they can provide their own email address and password.
The process is described as “a more streamlined way to collaborate.”
“Slack can provide a way to share content with your friends, but the best way to do that is to set your own channels,” the Slack team said in a blog post announcing the new feature.
“The Slack team has worked hard to build this feature, and we’re excited to make it available to everyone.”
The new Slack feature is one of the first tools to allow people to collaborate across multiple Slack accounts.
This is a big step forward for the tool, which has been in beta for months, and will make Slack one of Slack’s largest and most popular tools for work.
Slack’s official launch will take place on June 3.
The company recently released its third-generation product, Slack Enterprise, which lets employees collaborate on their favorite projects on the Slack platform.
