Microsoft is rolling out an online service to help healthcare providers manage internet-related issues.
The company is launching the Health IT Solutions Toolkit (HIST) as part of its effort to reduce the number of healthcare providers who are overwhelmed by the complexity of internet issues and to help them better manage patients’ online use.
The toolkit is designed to help providers understand what issues they might be facing and provide tools to manage them.
The tools are part of a broader initiative Microsoft launched in October to help health care providers manage patient data in a more efficient way.
The Health IT Solution Kit is available for download through Microsoft’s Microsoft Azure portal and Microsoft Access.
Microsoft says it will use the tools to help address the following issues:The health IT Solutions Kit is also designed to improve the quality of healthcare delivery through its technology and to improve health information and communication across the health care continuum.
The first version of the toolkit was released on Tuesday.
The goal is to address the problems that healthcare providers experience with the complexity and speed of internet-based information.
