By Amit Singhal/Business Standard/File: K.M. Shriram/Reuters/File Photographer CIO, Cisco, Inc., and CTO, Cisco have teamed up to launch an e-commerce portal to bring the world’s leading Internet infrastructure solutions to Indian consumers.
Cisco, which has been building a presence in India for over three decades, is partnering with e-tailer and social networking platform, Shibe.com to launch the portal on May 19.
The portal will offer an array of Cisco internetworking products and services at affordable prices and will allow customers to easily buy and sell their own hardware, networking, and other components, according to a press release issued by Cisco.
com, an online marketplace and social network that is owned by Shibe Group, also plans to open an online portal later this year.
The platform will offer products from Cisco, Cisco Cloud, and Cisco Unified Communications.
The two companies have been working on the project since December 2017, said a Cisco spokesperson.
Shibe, founded in 2013, was launched to bring Internet connectivity to India.
